Go Play Golf 2018
Our Go Play Golf event, the 3rd Annual Go Play Charity Golf Tournament to benefit HopeKids Colorado was held on August 2, 2018 at Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton, CO. Our event benefactor HopeKids, provides ongoing events, activities and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or some other life-threatening medical condition. They surround these remarkable children and their families with the message that hope can be a powerful medicine. Learn more at http://www.hopekids.org .
We had 48 golfers participate in the event and 13 local business sponsors contribute to allow us to provide HopeKids with funds to help further their mission (check back in a few days to see the total funds we were able to donate)! Thank you to everyone who participated in making this event a success.
Go Play Bowling 2018
Our Go Play Bowling event, was held on March 3rd, 2018 at Moe’s Original Barbecue in Englewood, CO. Our event benefactor was Go Play of Colorado itself. Each year we host one event that raises a small amount of funds to help us pay for annual operating expenses like our tax return, web site hosting, insurance etc. as well as provides us funds to use as deposits on our larger events. We had 28 participants at this year’s bowling event and netted $550 to help us with our expenses. Thank you to everyone who participated in our Go Play Bowling event.
Go Play Golf 2017
Our Go Play Golf event, the 2nd Annual Go Play Charity Golf Tournament presented by Townsend Retirement Planning and Wealth Management to benefit Colton’s Heart was held on September 28th, 2017 at Black Bear Golf Club in Parker, CO. Our event benefactor was Colton’s Heart, a non-profit organization founded by Sam and Britney Gibson after the sudden loss of their son Colton, a heart warrior. Their mission is to give back to other heart warriors and their families by providing monthly comfort baskets during their stay at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
We had 72 golfers register for the event and 18 local business sponsors contribute to allow us to provide Colton’s Heart with a check for $5,064.27. Thank you to everyone who participated in making this event a success.

Go Play Pool 2017
Our Go Play Pool event was held on April 24th, 2017 at Felt Billiards in Englewood, CO. Our event benefactor was Freedom Service Dogs, a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by rescuing dogs and custom training them for individual client needs. Clients include children, veterans and active duty military, and other adults. Their disabilities include autism, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
We had 33 pool players and 17 social participants join us for a a great evening of fun and fund raising. Thanks to the generosity of these 50 individuals, we were able to donate $1,200 to Freedom Service Dogs.
